FUMC Director of Children's Ministries
Pam has been a part of our program since the beginning! She is the Director of Children's Ministries for FUMC Conway but is also our chapel leader here at E.C.C. Pam obtained her B.A. in Elementary Education from Hendrix College and was originally a school teacher before beginning the children's ministry position here at FUMC in 1995. Miss Pam enjoys cooking, knitting, and gardening in her spare time. She especially enjoys making props to use for storytelling in Chapel Time. Pam and her husband, Clay, have two adult children named Will and Molly, who grew up attending both E.C.C. (formerly School for Little People) and Summer Adventure Camp. Pam says, "We continue to feel blessed by the foundation of love and learning that our children received through those experiences."
Program Licensing Director
Angie has been with our program for over 16 years. She was the lead teacher in the Rabbit classroom until the spring of 2018 when she assumed the role of director! Angie has a gift for working with children. She played a big role in the development of our Pre-K art show over the years. She holds a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas and has been able to use the knowledge and skills that she obtained to serve our program greatly. Angie and her husband, Greg, have two children, Shelby who is a senior in college and Will who is a high school junior.
Pam has been with our program for over 30 years! She was the Rabbit teacher assistant for several years before becoming our Assistant Director. Pam brightens up our program with her positive attitude! If you see her in the hall, she will most likely always have a big smile on her face! In her free time, Pam enjoys cooking for her friends and family. Pam is married to Charlie and their daughter, Sarah, is the lead teacher in the Rabbit classroom.
Leslie has served our program for the past ten years, but has been a part of the ECC family for even longer, as her daughter also attended the program. She was the lead teacher in the Monkey class before becoming our financial assistant three years ago. Leslie holds a bachelors degree in Education from the University of Arkansas. Leslie brings joy to the ECC staff with her fun sense of humor. Leslie, her husband Benton, and their daughter are members at the Conway First United Methodist Church. In her free time, Leslie enjoys watching her daughter participate in extra-curricular activities.
